Anyway, Lexi and I went to Cinderella at the Cabaret last night. She was in Heaven. She got a picture with Cinderella and Prince Charming and only had to cover her eyes once (when they were kissing). I'll try to scan the picture and post it later.
For those of you who have read The Giver, it mentions that Rosemary is The Giver's daughter and it alludes that Gabriel and Jonas are possibly brothers (based on the fact they all have pale eyes). I wondered if they are all related? Also, what did you think of the parents' reaction when Jonas asked them if they loved him? One last one, how do you feel about some people having the power to lie in that society (specifically about release)? Is it better not to know sometimes? Do you think people in a position of power over you (i.e. your parents, your teachers, etc.) lied to you, but rationalized that it was for your own good? Remember in the Matrix when the guy said he wished he had never taken the pill to pull him out of the matrix? So, is ignorance bliss, or is it better to know the truth? I love novels that make you think!

ok so im answering ur question about the giver. (ya it's amazing that im gonna mayb make sense) ok. so it made me sad what his parents said and i think that gabriel is related 2 thim, and i think rosemary is a pretty name and i think that it's better 2 kno the truth because people can't always sheild u from reality. and if u've been shielded from all of this bad stuff all of ur life when u actually come in contact with the truth it hurts a LOT more. except.... when ur a little kid then it's good 2 not kno 2 much but like as u get older it's good 2 kno more about the real world. and i think that ppl loose a little bit of thier... toughness i guess when they never have 2 experience true pain or love or anything like that. i think that the utopia in the giver is a really crappy one. i mean i would die if i had 2 live there. i think it's stupid 2 b sheltered 4 a long time.

helllooooo everyone!!! sooooo yaaa.....i jumped in the bushes at nikkas house (we were playin kick the can) and ya. it was awesome.....my legs are all scratched up tho....o well....o ya and when i was at island acres with nikka heather maddie and my family.....i face planted on the sand and it hurt realllyyyy baddd....but anyways....i have like an awesome scar from it....its on my knee....and when i bend my leg...it looks like a pink brain...its pretty sweet. so ya. laters.
ahhhhh....i hate the 6th graders!!they really bug me...........they r so annoying!!!
Hi guys... i did week two b4 summer started because i thought it was homework on the last thursday. so i DID do it... but i have no idea where my packet went! I'll just have someone fax it to me. yea, i was in rested butt and i thought about mr cook because everyone but us was on a bike.

Hey - "Rumors of my demise have been overexaggerated!" to quote Mark Twain. I am not dead. No Ninjas nor Darth Maul have overtaken me. I and the other literacy teachers worked an extra week to get things planned for fall. Hum - strange that I didn't see any math teachers in the building at all..... hum. Guess teaching math is an easier job than literacy.
