This next week I am off to Denver for a conference on the politics of education (it's sure to be mind numbing) so I may not check in as often. Moa, please tell your parents that I would have been happy to help your family move if I didn't have previous obligations. :-) Honestly, I'm sure your excited to not have such a commute each day. Plus, Palisade is a wonderful town.

hey if anyone iz gonna go 2 country jam come and see me in the vip section i am working there friday saturday and sunday nights w/ my volleyball club i spent the nite @ sarahs house and we had one of those deep conversations that ppl always have on sleep overs or b-day partys. u kno the ones about death and life and cures 4 stuff and creation and reincarnitation and stuff i went to the lp pool not palisade pool cuz that one kinda sucks but anyways and there were 2 guys swimming around and asking random ppl questions and they asked me if i liked pie i said "sure why not" and they reminded me of me and my friends. sarah an me were at palisade pool and she thought that whales were loners and i thought that they swam i pods so i asked this random lady if whales swam i pods and she said yes so hahahaha on u sarah

Went swimming at my other aunts house. Also ate dinner there.

Played a game called Phase 10 and watched Malcom in the Middle. hahahahahahahahahahahahaha funny show.
Anyways that was my day not fun except for riding and swimming.

muah ha ha yesterday was like the BEST day of my life...not really sure why...but ok....so heres my schedule:
10:30 wake up, slowly
10:45-1:00 screw around
1:00 go to pool, walk around pali
3:30-6:00 swim, mess around in pool
6:00-7:00 eat dinner, ride back to pool
7:00-9:00 swim, run around like im crazy, play in baby pool(haha)
and at the pool, i was bored, so i thought "huh...i need to call bryan and wells and get them over here" then this lil blonde kid shows up in front of me, and ITS BRYAN!!! and then like 5 minutes later, guess who is standin at the fence, WELLS!!! it was so weird tho....most ppl didnt think it was weird, but i was like hyped up on [energy drinks]shhhh....and ya. it was pretty sweet.
ooo man...im in trouble now....the old man in the garden told me to start digging or else i wouldnt get there in time....and i havent started digging!!! ahhhh......o and the man in the moon said not to eat the cheese...so DONT EAT THE STINKIN CHEESE!!!!

sorry that i never checked in for my #3 problems but i did them and i have finished my #4 problems too.anna(abbs)is out of town and wanted me to tell u that she finished her #4 problems too.i havent done anything exciting(aka life threatining)yet this summer.i have been SOoooOOOo bored all summer!ya i still havent figured out how to put a pic on the blog yet so will some one please give me some step by step istructions(i am a little slow lately)

I'm back from Denver! I had a wonderful time and learned a lot about School Board elections. This November two of the five school board members seats are up for election, so if you know of anyone who you think would be a good candidate (and who either lives in the Redlands or on anywhere south of the Colorado river) you might encourage them to think about running. It is incredibly important position. School Board members make the final decision on everything to do with running a 3000 employee organization with a budget in excess of $230 million this past year. And what do they get paid? Nothing. :-)
Neigh - Thanks for the Father's Day greeting! That was very thoughtful. The girls and I (and the rest of my family) had a nice BBQ before I left for Denver. A haitus is a fancy way of saying taking a long break from something. In the academic world it's called a sabbatical if you are taking a break to go study somewhere else for a while.
Holli - Let me know how Chris is doing on his homework. Maybe he could relay his progress through you. I just want to make sure he isn't slacking, you know?

ok i just suffered a loss.
3 of my meat chickens died. i know theyre just meat birds but they were really friendly. and i feel like i killed them. they overheated in the coop and i went to check on them and they were just lying there so i nudged one with my foot to make it get up cuz i thought it was asleep, but it was all hard and dead and it was really sad. and then my mom openedd the coop door to come in and caught another chickens wing in it and broke the wing and ripped a whole section off the bone and that made me glad my dad's a doctor cuz he cut off the ripped up part and cleaned and bandaged the rest of the remaining wing.
all in all, i havnt had the best time with chickens lately

sorry sav i have been working at country jam for the past 3 days from 4:00-10:00pm and we stayed for the shows so we got home at 12:30 and that is too late 2 call u. Country jam is sweeeeeeet but i had to work in the bufett tent and there were 3 ppl trying to control the place and they were all running around like maniacs bossing ppl around and yelling at you plus one lady almost had a heat stroak and another guy had a heart attack. but other than that it was suppa fun. me and michelle midgly(only kelso knows her i think)anyway we got into the vip seating infront of the stage and there were ppl dancing so stupidly but i guess thats cuz they were wasted and this one guy was dancing w/ his togune hanging out it was sooo funny also there was this kinda drunk 30+ year old guy that tried to get me to dance w/ him and it was a slow song after he went away michelle and i started cracking up it was hilarious. and i was working in the pepsi booth and this guy asked us where the ice came from(why does anyone care where the ice comes from) and i looked at him stupidly and said "the ice truck" he gave me a dirty look and went away. also during dinner i went around to all of the vip tents and collected ppl's trash in these ginormus trash bags and i was dragging them out over a dirt road and i was going to lift it into one of the trashcans(this bag weighed a ton) and there were some kinda hot guys standing right there so i tried to lift the trash bag up and the bottom fell out along w/ 100 ppls leftover food. IT WAS GROSS plus the guys started cracking up but i didnt care i was cracking up with michelle and tiffany

k ya i had so much fun w/ my lil sis' friend. we were thinning apples in my orchard and we took the apples and put them on the road in a line and arranged them in a smiley face. and then this car of hot guys drove up and screeched to a halt in front of the line of apples like, "what the heck?" and then they looked at us and we screamed and ran and they cracked up and drove right over the apples. it was so funny, im gonna do it again but next time im gonna film peoples reactions and show it in class. i was kind of hoping the first person would be a cyclist so they would totally crash.jk.

i was on my way back from dropping my sister off in Durango w/ my mom and we were walking down the street and all the sudden chris comes around the corner on his board and im freaking out going "Chris! oh my god give me a hug!" and it was so cool and we met him for dinner and for breakfast and we looked in an antique store and he wanted the little stuffed mink as his "buddy" and ya.
did u know he might move to palisade right behind averi's house? that would mean he'd be neighbors w/ me and maso and anna and sarah and averi. that would be SOOOO COOL!
